Do you fancy being a Youth Ranger on the Eastern Moors?

Are you aged 14 to 18 years old?

Then join us at our Youth Ranger Taster Day in March.

Our exciting new Youth Ranger programme is aimed at 14 to 18 year olds, who love the outdoors and want to expand their skills and experiences. If this sounds like you then we invite you to join us at our Youth Ranger Taster Day on Sunday 23 March.

If you like what you see on the taster day, you will be invited to come back and join our Youth Ranger programme.  You will meet us on a Sunday afternoon, once a month on the Eastern Moors, and take part in a variety of countryside related tasks. From tree felling to wildlife surveying, setting up family events to developing interpretation; the possibilities are endless.  You will also have many opportunities to choose your tasks based on projects you identify as important to increase and maintain the Eastern Moors for wildlife and for people.

Becoming a Youth Ranger can work towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award, John Muir Award and Peak District Award.  It is also a great thing to put on your C.V. ready for a career or university study.
